Senior Associate, Policy Innovation
Elizabeth is a senior associate working on many projects at the Center, including the Pritzker Children’s Initiative. She has a passion for working with underserved communities around education, housing, and women’s empowerment.
Prior to joining the Center, Elizabeth worked with an early childhood home visiting program with the Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake. She worked with preservice teachers at the University of Utah around multicultural education, home-community-school partnerships, and teaching English as a Second Language. She also worked in the elementary level in the Salt Lake City School District. Prior to living in Salt Lake City, Elizabeth was in the Peace Corps doing community health and public health work in Niger and Namibia.
Elizabeth holds a MAT in Elementary Education and a MEd with an English as a Second Language endorsement from Westminster College. She also has a BA in Women’s Studies with a dual-emphasis in international and social issues with a minor in music from Wichita State University.
