Luke currently serves as Associate, Data Science, where he manages projects related to the Center's engagement with local government policy innovations in various communities across the country. These projects, called Administrative Data Pilots, bring together Luke's passion for inter-community cooperation and dialogue in addition to the satisfaction of carrying out rigorous evaluation using statistical methods and reporting tools present in Data Science.
Prior to joining the Sorenson team, Luke spent time studying and volunteering abroad in China and Brazil, conducting Linguistics research under an NSF fellowship at The Ohio State University, and working as a licensed stock broker while finishing the last leg of his undergraduate degree.
Luke recently graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in Linguistics.
