Tamara, a Director at Sorenson Impact, helps manage international and domestic projects.
Prior to Sorenson, she worked at The Atlantic Philanthropies, the largest limited life foundation, which completed grant making in 2016. At Atlantic, she bridged internal strategic work over several departments including Evaluation, Communications, Grants Management, and Reconciliation and Human Rights. She also spent three years working for Cornell University's Industrial Labor Relations (ILR) School with the Human Capital Development team, where she managed high-profile executive learning programs in leadership, professional development, entrepreneurship and corporate innovation for Kuwait's National Sustainability Program.
She holds an MPA from Cornell University where she was involved as president of Women in Public Policy and participated in the student Social Venture Fund. She also consulted for NGOs and small businesses in emerging markets and local government. She holds a BSc in Public Health Education from Brigham Young University.
